My name is Dursun Aygün. We have been producing dried fruit rolls and chuchkhela in our homes for 17 years and decided to make industrial production of this products. Hence we established our enterprise in Şebinkarahisar district of Giresun via IPARD grants. IPARD is the way to increase the amount of production and spread these tastes to our country. We are encouraged by the taste of our products and positive feedbacks from the community. Hence we thought that we will not have trouble in marketing our products. A similar investment does not exist in and around of Şebinkarahisar. We planned to be the first enterprise around and established a small scale production facility on our land thanks to IPARD support. The soon we started production, the orders increased. Apart from our sales point in Şebinkarahisar, we have 10 franchisees including the ones in Istanbul and Ankara. We also deliver our products to the customers via cargo. We have two transportation vehicles and nearly 10 employees in our enterprise including the woman workers. We are very pleased to realize this investment via IPARD grant supports. We share our knowledge with the ones asking for our experience to invest on such a project and recommend them to apply for IPARD supports. In the future we hopefully try to benefit from IPARD supports in order to increase our capacity and establish a rural tourism enterprise covering a showroom for our products, a restaurant and cafe and a playing garden for children. I will also be happy to contribute to the improvement of the appearance and social life of our district.
