IPARD, the rural development component of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), is established by the EU to support candidate countries. The IPARD Programme aims to support alignment preparations and policy development for the implementation and management of the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy, Rural Development Policy and related policies in this context. Support under the Programme is co-financed by the European Commission and the Republic of Türkiye.
