In the scope of LEADER Approach Application Trainings, “Technical Assistance for raising awareness and capacity building and preparation of local development strategıes for new lags” project’s closing meeting was held online on 4th November 2021, by Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
In the closing meeting, from Balıkesir, Burdur, Bursa, Çankırı, Elazığ, Erzincan, Giresun, Hatay, Isparta, Karaman, Kütahya, Mardin, Muş, Uşak and Yozgat provinces, representatives for National Rural Network and LEADER of Provincial Directories of MoAF, Provincial Coordination Units (PCU) of ARDSI, Municipalities, Development Agencies, Regional Development Administrations, Union of Chamber of Agriculture of Turkey, Turkey Development Foundation, General Directorate of Sivil Society Relations, potential LAG representatives, members of 15 Provincial Evaluation Committees, Local Project Officers LPO’s working in the Project were invited.
Meeting started by the opening speech of, Deputy Deirector of General Directorate of Agricultural Reform and Managing Authority of IPARD Dr. Osman YILDIZ, informing about the LEADER Approach applications. After the EU Commission Representative Mr. Krzysztof SULIMA’s speaking, Project group leader and Karabük University Associate Dr. Mehmet Kazım YETİK made a presentation on the activities of “Technical Assistance for raising awareness and capacity building and preparation of local development strategies for new lags”. And Representative of Delegation of the European Union to Turkey Leyla Alma delivered her opinions. Head of Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment Dr. İlkay Kılıç made the closing statements.
