The 8th Official Monitoring Committee Meeting of IPARD II Programme held within the context of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance-Rural Development (IPARD) of the European Union was held in Mardin, on 13 June 2019.

The representatives of the institutions and organizations along with the EU Commission attended the meeting which was chaired by Vice Chairman Mr. Hasan ÖZLÜ, General Director of Agriculture Reform, Deputy General Director of Agriculture Reform and the Head of IPARD Managing Authority Mr. Dr. Muhammed ADAK, Mr. Liam BRESLIN and Mrs. Iwona LISZTWAN from EU Commission, Deputy Head of Department from Delegation of the EU to Turkey Giulio GENTİLE, and Leyla ALMA, Head of Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment Haluk ÇAĞLAR, responsible of working groups, Mehmet AYDINBELGE, Figen ERCAN and Salih ARIKAN and experts from Managing Authority. The Head of ARDSI, Mr Hakan KALENDER and General Coordinator of ARDSI, Şerife KONTOĞLU and experts from ARDSI. National Authorizing Officer, representatives of Audit Authority and the members of Monitoring Committee participated the meeting.

During the meeting, presentations concerning applications and implementations under IPARD II, results of Call for Applications, IPARD II modification, Annual Implementation Report, publicity and information activities, on-going evaluation, Agri-Environment measure, LEADER and Rural Network proceedings, Technical Assistance activities and Action Plans, Monitoring Report, NAO and Audit Authority activities were delivered. The meeting was closed with greetings and good wishes.

After the Monitoring Committee, two IPARD projects were visited by EU Commission. These projects were a crafting enterprise (textile-weaving-302-3-1), and a wood processing (302-2).
