As part of efforts to expand the scope of the IPARD III Program’s “Agri-Environment, Climate, and Organic Farming Measure,” information meetings were held on September 2–3 in the districts of Nallıhan, Güdül, and Ayaş in Ankara.
As part of efforts to expand to broader areas the “Management of Soil Cover and Soil Erosion Control” type of operation, which has been implemented in Beypazarı as pilot district since the IPARD II period, The meetings, held under the “Technical Assistance Project for Agri-Environment Studies”, were attended by the district directors and staff of the Agriculture and Forestry Directorates, the presidents and staff of the agricultural chambers, as well as mukhtars and leading farmers from the aforementioned districts.
During the meetings, staff from the IPARD Managing Authority and IPARD Agency provided beneficiaries with detailed information on the requirements, eligibility criteria, implementation guidelines, and benefit disbursement processes for this type of operation.
Implementation of the “Management of Soil Cover and Soil Erosion Control” type of operation is scheduled to begin in 2027 in Nallıhan, Güdül, and Ayaş.
