Within the scope of the IPARD III Programme, a training program for expert agricultural advisors was held in Antalya under the Advisory Services Measure (M10), which will be implemented for the first time in Türkiye. The programme targets expert agricultural advisors working in the Union of Turkish Chambers of Agriculture and Agricultural Producer Organizations holding first-degree certification.
Training programme organized in line with the Advisory Services Measure to be implemented under the IPARD Programme, which has been successfully implemented throughout Türkiye since 2011, was held between February 3 and 7, 2026. The training program provided training topics to enable expert agricultural advisors working in beneficiary institutions to deliver one-on-one and group advisory services more effectively and with higher quality.
The training programme was carried out under the coordination of General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, and Department of Training and Publication. Participants received comprehensive training on IPARD measures, preparation of IPARD business plans, procurement procedures, preparation of application packages, and payment claim packages. In addition, programme was held on communication and extension techniques, technological developments in plant and animal production, productivity-enhancing practices, as well as climate- and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
Delivered by subject-matter experts, the training programme was conducted in a dynamic format that encouraged active participation, with interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions. Participants received a certificate of participation upon completion of the training program.
