The General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, the IPARD Managing Authority, held a well-attended meeting in Niğde to promote and inform participants about the IPARD III Programme. Gökhan Çengel, a staff member of the IPARD Managing Authority, gave a comprehensive presentation informing participants about the sectors supported under the IPARD III Programme. The presentation included detailed information on Investments in the Physical Assets of Agricultural Enterprises, Investments in the Processing and Marketing of Agricultural and Fishery Products, the Advisory Services Measure, the Development of Local Development Strategies - LEADER Approach, Public Infrastructure Investments in Rural Areas, Diversification of Farm Activities and Business Development Measures, and the Agriculture-Environment, Climate, and Organic Agriculture Measure. Brochures prepared by the Managing Authority, including information on the sectors supported under the IPARD III Programme, eligible expenditures, capacity criteria, grant rates, and more, were distributed. Ahmet Antalyalı, President of the Turkish Agriculture and Forestry Association (ARDSI), and Furkan Mete, Niğde Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, delivered speeches and presentations. Niğde Deputy Governor Mutlu Almalı, district governors, Niğde Deputy Mayors, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şekeroğlu, presidents of producer associations, farmers, investors, representatives of professional chambers, public institutions, and media organizations attended the event.
