The General Directorate of Agricultural Reform (GDAR) and the IPARD Managing Authority held a meeting in İzmir to publicize and inform about the IPARD III Program in 27 November 2025.
İzmir, a province with a high investment potential, attracted significant interest and broad participation in the IPARD III publicity and information program. Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry of İzmir, Mustafa Şahin, gave a presentation on İzmir’s agricultural assets. Following, Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı, Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, delivered opening remarks Then, Dr. H. İbrahim Mutlu, from the IPARD Managing Authority, gave a comprehensive presentation informing participants about the sectors supported under the IPARD III Program. The presentation provided detailed information to participants on investments in the physical assets of agricultural holdings, investments in the processing and marketing of agricultural and fishery products, the advisory services measure, the Development of Local Development Strategies - LEADER Approach, public infrastructure investments in rural areas, and the diversification of farm activities and business development measures.
Producer associations, farmers, potential investors, professional chambers, public institutions, and media organizations attended the program. Following the presentation, a question and answer session followed.
