Within the scope of the “Technical Assistance Project for Ex-Post Evaluation of IPARD II Programme” funded by the European Union and implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the 2nd Meeting of the Evaluation Steering Committee was held in Ankara on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Directorate General for Agricultural Reform, European Union Structural Adjustment Management Authority, the Agency for Supporting Agricultural and Rural Development, members of the Evaluation Steering Committee (DYK), and officials from the contractor firm implementing the project. The contractor firm representatives presented general information on the implementation process of the IPARD II Program, the evaluation studies, and the findings obtained. Subsequently, participants exchanged views on the findings, conclusions, and recommendations related to the Draft Final Evaluation Report. Within the scope of the meeting: • The overall results and performance of the IPARD II Program were evaluated, • Analyses of beneficiaries' experiences were shared, • Policy recommendations and areas for improvement were discussed, • Strategic outputs that will shed light on the implementation process of the IPARD III Program were addressed. Participants shared their recommendations regarding the contribution of the achievements made during the IPARD II period to rural development policies and the IPARD III Program.
