The General Directorate of Agricultural Reform (GDAR) and the IPARD Managing Authority held a meeting in Iğdır to publicize and inform about the IPARD III Program in 16th October 2025. Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry of Iğdır, Ahmet Tingiş, gave a presentation on Iğdır’s agricultural assets in the meeting. Following, Dr. H. İbrahim Mutlu, an agricultural engineer from the IPARD Managing Authority, gave a comprehensive presentation informing participants about the sectors supported under the IPARD III Program. During the presentation, detailed information was provided to the participants about the investment measures implemented in the Programme and the new measures planned to be implemented for the first time in the IPARD III period. ARDSI Managers, Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry officials, producer associations, farmers, potential investors, neighborhood representatives (mukhtars), professional chambers, public institutions, and media organizations attended the program. Following the presentation, a question and answer session followed. Following the meeting, medicinal and aromatic plant and fruit and vegetable drying facilities, which are currently under construction and supported under the IPARD III Program in Iğdır, were visited. The meeting concluded with goodwill and best wishes.
