The Stars of Agriculture Children's Festival, organized within the scope of the IPARD III Programme, was carried out at the Lodumlu Campus on October 6-7, 2025. The opening speeches at the Festival, where Ayaş Seğmen Children Team also took the stage, started with the President of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (ARDSI), Ahmet Antalyalı, PhD. The opening ceremony continued with a speech by Osman YILDIZ PhD, Director General of Agricultural Reform-Head of IPARD Managing Authority, and concluded with a speech by Ahmet Bağcı PhD, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, emphasizing the importance of rural development and how instilling the love of nature in children is the greatest investment in the future. In the afternoon, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekın also attended the festival and met with the children. The Ministers engaged with children, the future's guarantors, and discussed nature, agriculture, and environmental awareness. Approximately 1,000 children from Polatlı and Beypazarı were hosted for two days as part of the festival. The children not only had fun but also learned new things about nature, production, and sustainability. In the workshops, they painted pencilcases with root dyes, explored nature in a virtual environment with virtual reality glasses, participated in introductory activities at the insect school, made seed balls, engaged in activities with recycled materials, and participated in soil analysis workshops. In the outdoor area, they had fun with rhythm and percussion shows, watched a magician's show, had fun with the mascots, and enjoyed the day with activities such as playing on inflatable toys and shooting games. Throughout the event, the fertility of the soil, the value of the environment, and the enthusiasm of production were shared with the children; an unforgettable smile was left on the faces of the children who will become the stars of agriculture in the future.
