Opening meetings were held for the type of operations, "Management of Soil Cover and Soil Erosion Control" and "Biodiversity-Enhancing the Great Bustard Population" under "Agri-Environment, Climate and Organic Farming" Measure within the IPARD III Programme carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Agricultural Reform - IPARD Managing Authority with the joint financing of the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union.
Mr. Hasan Hüseyin HAN, Head of Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment, Beypazarı District Governor Mr. Vedat YILMAZ, officials of ARDSI, Beypazarı District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mr. Adem BÜYÜKHAN and his personnel, valuable representatives of Beypazarı Municipality, NGOs and the farmers attended the meeting held in Beypazarı on 28.08.2024 for the "Management of Soil Cover and Soil Erosion Control" type of operation.
The meeting held on 29.08.2024 for the "Biodiversity-Enhancing the Great Bustard Population" type of operation, which will be implemented for the first time in Polatlı during the IPARD III period, were participated by Mr. Hasan Hüseyin HAN, Head of Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment, Polatlı District Governor Mr. Murat BULACAK, officials of ARDSI, Polatlı District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry employees, Polatlı Chamber of Agriculture personnel, as well as the farmers of the villages where the implementation will be carried out.
At the meetings where IPARD Managing Authority Head of Department Mr. Hasan Hüseyin HAN and ARDSI Project Monitoring and Control Coordinator Ms. İLHAN DEMİRKAN made opening speeches, District Governors and District Directors also took the floor indicating the importance of the issue. Later, farmers were informed by the IPARD Managing Authority and ARDSI officials on agri-environment subjects such as type of operations, commitments, application conditions, sanctions, and payment amounts.
