IPARD III Publicity and Information meeting was held in Eskişehir province by the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, IPARD Managing Authority in order to effectively promote the IPARD III Programme.
In his speech, Eskişehir Governor Hüseyin Aksoy highlighted the importance of IPARD Prgramme, “Works were carried out with many different methods supported by our Ministry. Significant support has been given to our province so far. But today we are faced with a different support. IPARD Programme grants, which were not very comprehensive in the first phase that started in different provinces and now cover the whole country, 81 provinces, will also start to provide support in Eskişehir. This rural development will provide significant support in many matters that our producers wish to do but have financial difficulties. It will be very valuable both in terms of bringing our facilities to international European Union standards and being able to offer the products we produce to international markets”.
Comprehensive information was provided by Hasan Hüseyin HAN, Head of Department of IPARD Managing Authority, regarding the sectors supported within the scope of the IPARD III Programme (2021-2027). In his speech, he gave detailed information to the participants about the Measures on Investments in the Physical Assets of Agricultural Enterprises, Investments in the Processing and Marketing of Agricultural and Fishery Products, Advisory Services, Development of Local Development Strategies - LEADER Approach, Public Infrastructure Investments in Rural Areas and Diversification of Farm Activities and Business Development. At the meeting, Mr. Ahmet ANTALYALI, President of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, and Ender Muhammet GÜMÜŞ, Eskişehir Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, also made their speeches.
The meeting was participated by Agricultural Producer Unions, Farmers, Investors, Municipalities, University, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, Women's Initiative Production and Business Cooperative, Women Farmers Association, Personnel of Provincial and District Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry, Provincial Liaison Office experts, public representatives of institutions and organizations and local media organizations.
