A field visit was organized by IPARD Managing Authority to determine the current crop patterns and the status of ground water resources in Gülağaç and Güzelyurt districts of Aksaray province which were selected as the pilot region and to investigate the suitability of the packages planned to be implemented for the water conservation sub-measure planned to be implemented within the Agri-Environment, Climate and Organic Farming Measure within the scope of the IPARD III Programme.
Before the meeting held at the Aksaray Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry on 25.04.2024, Aksaray Chamber of Agriculture President Mr. Emin Koçak was interviewed and his opinion was received about farmer awareness and susceptibility to implementation. Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. Necdet Demir, was visited in his office and information was given on the subject.
Coordination Department Branch Manager Ms. Gökçe Bitirgen, Gülağaç District Director Sami Gündüz and Güzelyurt District Director Serkan Şengün attended the meeting held at the afternoon.
