The success of the programme was highlighted once again with the IPARD Good Practices promotional video for various investments supported within the scope of the IPARD Programme. This was followed by the presentation delivered by the representative of the IPARD Managing Authority, Dr. Halil Ibrahim MUTLU to provide information on the sectors supported within the scope of the IPARD III Programme (2021-2027). In the presentation, information was provided to the participants related to IPARD III Programme measures of "Investments in the Physical Assets of Agricultural Holdings, Investments in the Processing and Marketing of Agricultural and Fishery Products, Agri-Environment – Climate and Organic Farming, Implementation of Local Development Strategies - LEADER Approach, Investments in Rural Public Infrastructure, and Farm Diversification and Business Development measures. The issues that are different from the IPARD I and IPARD II Programmes were indicated.
ARDSI Muş Provincial Coordinator Bünyamin SÜNE, in his presentation, referred to the investments supported under the IPARD Programme in Muş province and stated that there are 240 projects that have received their payments within the scope of IPARD I and IPARD II. He emphasized that 195 of these projects have been implemented by young farmers. Muş Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Head of Rural Development and Organization Section Nimetullah BÜTE delivered a presentation about the activities of the Provincial Directorate as well as the supports provided. He emphasized the importance of supports through visuals of some examples from projects.
Masum ÖZDEMIR, the beneficiary who received support to install a Solar Energy System at his enterprise located in Muş province within the scope of the ‘Diversification of Farm Activities and Business Development Measure’ during the IPARD II Programme period, set an example for the success of the programme by sharing his experience and satisfaction. Mr. ÖZDEMIR stated that the company covers 40% of its energy needs through the Solar Energy System it has installed by benefiting from the support and stressed that this support is very important for the sustainability of the enterprise.
