Before the IPARD III Programme publicity meeting held in Muş province on October 3, 2023 as part of the ’Technical Assistance Project for IPARD III Programme Promotion and Information Activities", representatives of the Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment of the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform visited the ARDSI Muş Provincial Coordination Office as well as the Muş Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. Information was exchanged about the event organized under the IPARD III Programme. Information was received about the rural development and agricultural capacity of Muş province. It was stated that their support is expected to ensure that this capacity would be reflected in the IPARD III Programme.
A VISIT TO THE RURAL TOURISM FACILITY SUPPORTED UNDER THE IPARD PROGRAMME IN MUŞ PROVINCE
Representatives of IPARD Managing Authority of the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform visited Seyfetullah OLCAY, who founded the ‘OLCAY Suites Hotel’ in Muş province by benefiting from IPARD supports in the field of Rural Tourism within the scope of the IPARD II Programme ‘Farm Diversification and Business Development Measure‘ and received information about the facility. Stating that he is aware of the lack of accommodation facilities in Muş and has been thinking about investing in this issue for a long time, Olcay stated that he has realized his dream by getting support from the IPARD Programme. He also emphasized that he employs 12 personnel at the accommodation facility and supports its economic sustainability by supplying the products used at the facility locally. Mr. Olcay, who conveyed his experience about the IPARD Programme and expressed his satisfaction, stated that he would apply to the IPARD Programme again.
