IPARD III Publicity and Information Meeting was held on September 21, 2023 in Kastamonu with the attendance of Mr. Ibrahim YUMAKLI, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.
Following the remarks of the Head of the Managing Authority and Director General of Agricultural Reform, Dr. Osman YILDIZ, and the President of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, Dr. Ahmet Abdullah ANTALYALI, Mr. YUMAKLI addressed the participants.
In his speech, Mr. YUMAKLI emphasized that every investment in the rural is an investment in the economy, agriculture and health, which means the future, and added, “We are developing various national programmes for the sustainability of rural development and we are achieving numerous activities through cooperation with international programmes.” Underlining that the IPARD Programme has been successfully implemented in Türkiye for 11 years, the Minister highlighted the additional employment created through the programme.
The representatives of the Governor's Office, chambers of agriculture, agricultural development cooperatives, producer organizations, Local Action Groups, development agency, municipalities, chamber of commerce and industry, farmers, producers and potential IPARD beneficiaries participated in the meeting.
