On September 7, 2022, an information meeting was held by the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment for 49 Local Action Group (LAG) associations that are established at the local level in 12 IPARD provinces and are currently continuing their work. A total of 293 people from the provinces of Amasya, Ankara, Canakkale, Corum, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Kastamonu, Manisa, Ordu, Samsun and Sanliurfa participated in the meeting.
Provincial Directors of Agriculture and Forestry, District Directors, related personnel of ARDSI and representatives of 49 Local Action Groups participated in the meeting. The meeting started with the opening speech by the Deputy General Director of Agricultural Reform and the Head of IPARD Managing Authority Osman YILDIZ, PhD. During the meeting, information was provided on the work that is carried out by the Managing Authority regarding LEADER studies for the year 2022. The projects to be implemented and related processes about the LEADER Approach were also explained to the participants.
