My name is Hanifi Varol, we were operating a hotel in the city center 12-13 years ago but then I dealt with “build and sell” business. Later on I decided to engage in animal husbandry sector. I established the enterprise on my own resources and purchased the animals via Eastern Anatolia Project support. I was introduced with IPARD supports to carry out the modernization of my enterprise. I returned to hotel management business and applied for IPARD supports. Through the grant we received from IPARD, we opened our Blue White Apart Hotel. I became a pioneer in Ağrı by receiving the first license of the accommodation facility established with IPARD support. I became a man of real property thanks to IPARD. Collecting the required documents was difficult during the preparation period but we gained a model facility at the end. All high level state officials in Ağrı attended our opening ceremony. We have become more popular. People come and ask about our experiences and we share our knowledge with them. We also applied for modernization of our facility under IPARD II Program. I would like to remind those who would benefit from IPARD of that they will get reimbursed afterwards, so they should act accordingly.
