A Rural Tourism Facility With View Of Sea And Forest

Beneficiary : Çiğdem Aydın

My name is Çiğdem Aydın, I established an accommodation facility with 23 rooms in Boztepe district of Ordu. The name of our facility, ‘Akamoy’ comes from Georgian meaning ‘come here’. I did not have any experience in tourism sector, I and my husband were living in Ankara and working in different sectors but I have been dreaming about returning to my hometown and setting up an enterprise there. With the help of my uncle who has experience in tourism sector, we decided to establish an accommodation facility. After resigning our jobs and moving to our hometown, I realized my dream of establishing an accommodation facility via IPARD grant supports. Following the opening of our hotel, we received many Turkish and foreigner guests. Besides accommodation, we also provide alfresco wedding and meeting organizations and breakfast and food services to our guests. In order to organize better alfresco wedding ceremonies I am planning to build a saloon with folding roof and I would like to benefit from IPARD support again. I would like to thank everyone contributed to the realization of my project.
