My business life started with chickpea and roasted chickpea trade in Serinhisar district of Denizli following my graduation from the elementary school. Apart from the enterprise I established through IPARD support, I have another enterprise in Çivril district in which I purchase sunflower seed from producers in large quantities and export it to foreign countries. Before benefiting from the IPARD support, our production line was divided into three buildings in the chickpea producers’ site, which made the supervision of the enterprise and production difficult. When I was considering to bring my enterprise under a single roof, I have heard about IPARD supports and got the opportunity to realize my intention. I did not have enough space in my previous premises, for this reason I was not able to purchase the necessary machinery and equipment. After benefiting from the IPARD support, both the amount and quality of my production have increased since I have been able to supervise the process in a shorter time. I can consider re-applying for the IPARD support in order to enlarge the chickpea drying space.
